DOUGLAS PARK SOCCER CLUB
In 2010/11 DOUGLAS PARK SOCCER CLUB fielded 22 divisional teams and 40 house teams, plus one mens' team in the Vancouver Metro Soccer League. In 2009/10 the Girls U12 Roadrunners were U12 BCCGSL Gold Cup Finalists, and the Boys U14 Blue Rangers were divisional champions at the 2009/2010 TSS Power Tournament. At U15 the Blue Rangers were gold divisional champions. In 2008/09 the Girls U17 Silver 2 Strikers were divisional age group league winners.

DPSC girls' teams make up one third of the club, having increased from zero to 20 teams since 2001, with numbers growing every year.

Douglas Park Soccer Club encourages young members in the community as well as motivated players to join the Club.

SOCCER SEASON
The season runs from September to March with 3 weeks off in December/January. Teams are formed between July and September.

GAME TIME & LOCATIONS
Boys teams play on Saturdays. Girls House teams play on Saturday afternoons, then switch to Sundays at U11.

Douglas Park has one full size field for Divisional play, as well as 2 mini-fields.

PRACTICES
House (U6-U10) teams generally practice once per week and coaches will find out thier practice night in September. House teams practice outside until the middle of October, at which time they move to an indoor gym. Divisional Teams may practice 2 or more times per week outside at various turf fields around Vancouver.

The Douglas Park Field Status is updated by 4pm every Friday.

LEAGUES
Boys Divisional 4-District League (U12 - U18)
This involves teams from Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, and the North Shore.

Boys (U11)
play in an 8 aside league interlocking with teams from Vancouver and Richmond.

House League (U10, U9, U8, U6/7)
Boys - Play locally against other Douglas Park and Vancouver teams. Some travel is required to other fields.

Girls Divisional 5-District League (U13 - U18)
This involves teams from Vancouver, Richmond, Central Fraser Valley, South District, North Shore District and North District.

Girls (U11, U12)
Play in an 8 aside league interlocking with teams from Vancouver and Richmond U12 Gold teams play in the 5 district league.

Girls House League (U10, U9, U8, U6/7)
Play locally against other Douglas Park and Vancouver teams. Some travel is required to other fields
